DES MOINES, Iowa- Des Moines Police say a 10-year-old girl, driving a car, led them on a 10-block chase this morning on the city's east side.
Police were contacted around 8:15 a.m. about a reckless driver, an officer spotted the car and noticed the driver seemed very young. The girl crashed the car at East University and Dixon around 8:30 a.m. Neither the child-driver, nor her seven-year-old passenger were injured.
Police tell our News Partner, Channel 13, WHO-TV it appears this is a case of young kids making a bad decision.
