Battling flames in near 100 degree heat can be a chore.
Urbandale firefighters needed help from several other communities to fight a fire at a townhouse in the 4300 block of 153rd Place Sunday.
Fire crews were called around 3pm and say the blaze started on an outside deck of the home and spread inside. No one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
The investigation into the cause continues.
