The Iowa man already sentenced to prison for a $16 million dollar lottery ticket scam in Iowa, Eddit Tipton, today had his  plea deal approved in a multi-state criminal operation charge.

"We're pleased with the agreement reached today in all of the Tipton cases."  Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich tells WHO Radio News.

"We understand the agreement, once approved by an Iowa judge, will resolve all the criminal court procedings back to the 2010 Hot Lotto jackpot prize in Iowa, as well as other lottery cases in Wisconsin, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Colorado."  Rich says.

According to terms of the Wisconsin plea deal today, Eddie Tipton will plead Guilty to Felony Ongoing Criminal Conduct in Iowa later this month.

The deal specifies that he will not serve more than 25 years in prison.  Sentencing is set for September.
