A Des Moines woman says she is heartbroken after someone broke into her car and stole a family heirloom wedding dress.
A post on Marissa MacKenzie Hurst's Facebook page Tuesday is being shared and viewed by thousands of people, who are helping keep watch in case the dress is put up for sale on Craigslist.
Hurst says it was her grandmother's wedding dress, and she was planning to wear it for her own upcoming wedding.
