Two Urbandale, Iowa residents have been arrested in Pasco County, Florida, and charged with kidnapping, neglect and abandonment of a dependent person.
Fifty-year old Katrina Eubanks and her husband 54-year old Garry Eubanks are accused of bathing 19-year old Airionna Bent in a tub of bleach and Epsom salt, causing burns on the lower half of her body.
The two had been hired to care for Belt, who has intellectual disabilities.
Documents state the chemical injuries occurred in the couple's home at 3800 Hillsdale, in Urbandale.
Authorities say the Eubanks then drove Bent to a hospital outside Tampa, Florida.
A family member of Airionna Bent has posted an update on social media indicating that she's in a great deal of pain, and may be brought back to the burn unit at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City for treatment.
