The small town of McGregor about an hour north of Dubuque on the Mississippi River in northeastern Iowa has some serious damage from severe storms Wednesday.

Several buildings are damaged or destroyed.

The Clayton County Sheriff's office posted on Facebook that they have lost power so 911 calls are being rerouted to another county.  The post says all traffic going in and out of Mc Gregor is shut down until further notice due to extreme storm damage. If you do not live there, PLEASE don't go there. There are no reports of any injuries.

KWWL TV saus the Clayton County Emergency Manager is urging visitors to stay away so emergency responders can do their jobs.

About 30 miles west of McGregor, in Clermont, there is also some bad storm damage.

Fayette County Emergency Management is also reporting heavy storm damage in the town of Clermont and asking people to stay out.  MORE PHOTOS BELOW
