Senator Grassley joined us by phone this morning just out of the 6:30 news. Van had seen Senator Grassley doing some push-ups and wondered what was going on. Evidently someone in the media didn't think he could do them at his age, so he got down and did 25 push-ups! He also told us some other stories about his push-ups. Check it out here...
Tana Gertz also joined us by phone this morning just after the 8:30 news. She and her husband, Curtis, are on Ragbrai. They are headed from Algona to Clear Lake today and expect to make it there by 1PM. She says the weather so far has been great and that everyone is having a terrific time!
Congratulations to our two hot air balloon ride winners today! They will be riding over Indianola during the National Balloon Classic July 28th thru August 5th! We'll also be giving away tickets to the event all this week thru Monday the 31st. Tune in to win.
