The Des Moines woman sentenced last week in the death of her baby has been re-sentenced.

A Judge today (Monday) again gave Laci Taylor a suspended 10-year prison sentence for neglect of a dependent person, but this time (WHO Channel 13 reports) he added substance abuse treatment and a mental health evaluation.

Last week, right after sentencing, Taylor failed a breathalyzer test, and the judge had her put in jail until she could be re-sentenced.

Taylor's three-month old daughter suffocated after rolling over on a changing table while Taylor was gone for ten minutes fixing a bottle and having a cigarette.
