Apple Holds Event To Announce New Products

The announcement by Apple that it will spend $1.3 billion to build two data centers in Waukee has garnered national attention and is one in a series of announcements by big tech companies like Facebook and Google regarding investing in Iowa.

How did Iowa become a hotbed of technological investment?  Brian Waller, President of the Technology Association Of Iowa  says it takes more than money.  It takes a change of culture, in which the people of a state become creators, rather than just consumers, of technology.
