Thirty-two people were stuck on a ride at Adventureland in Altoona for a short time this weekend, when a safety mechanism was triggered, causing the "Storm Chaser" to come to a stop.
An Adventureland spokesperson says it happened around 11:30 Saturday morning.
Crews tell our news partner Channel 13, WHO-TV mechanical crews lowered the ride to get riders off safely, then began to figure out what caused the malfunction.
The ride was closed for the rest of the day Saturday.
