Halloween is coming up which got us thinking, what is the scariest place in Iowa...
Not only did we figure it out, but we're going to do our morning show live from there after spending the night with the ghosts of this haunted landmark.
In 1912, an entire family and two friends of the children, were murdered in their sleep by a man who was hiding in their house for hours with an ax. It's one of Iowa's most notorious unsolved murders. Not only was it in a time before scientific evidence, but over 100 people flocked and went through the home before police secured it.
Today, the home appears quiet on an average street in Villisca, but what goes on inside the home is anything but average.
