The scene was very sad in my beloved hometown of St. Louis, Missouri this past weekend. An ex-police officer was acquitted after shooting a black suspect. For three straight days, protesters marched peacefully until the nighttime hours...when rioting and violence against the police began.
How should our police react in these situations? Did allowing local departments access to military equipment help or hurt? A law enforcement expert and a former FBI agent weigh in.
