Natalie Killian, 39, took a visit to her dermatoligist when she found a suspicious spot on her skin, but the doctor told her she was fine. She later took a photo of it on the SkinVision app (currently only available in the UK) which uses "clinically-proven technology" and is backed by a team of doctors and determatoligists, and it told her otherwise. The app reported that she wasn't fine, actually had a medium-risk of skin cancer and should follow up with a doctor. However, Nataie figured she should trust her doctor over an app and let it go. A year later the app reminded her to get that same spot re-checked, and after experiencing some sharp pain in the area she decided to finally listen to her app....
SkinVision has plans to come to the U.S. and you can get email notifications on it's arrival here.
