(Sac County, Iowa) A teenager was killed over the weekend in a farm accident, near Wall Lake. The Sac County Iowa Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old-Ethan Nissen had been operating a 200 Caterpillar end loader, spreading manure for Quirk Farms Saturday afternoon, in the 21-hundred mile of 340th Street, northwest of Wall Lake, when the end loader rolled over.
Nissen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Students in the East Sac County School district will not have class Friday, so they can attend the funeral for Nissen, who was a high school junior. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 p.m at the East Sac County High School. The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m.
