(Urbandale, Iowa) The Urbandale Police Department wants to hear from local businesses, who might have donated to a fraudulent organization called "Mom's and Dad's for Kids."
November 27th police arrested Michael Gerkin of Minnesota, for Ongoing Criminal Conduct and First Degree Theft.
He's accused of soliciting funds from multiple businesses for a phony high school fundraiser.
Businesses who might have had contact with Gerkin are asked to contact Urbandale Police Detective Andy Morlan at 515-331-6816.
