False Ballistic Missile Alert In Hawaii Leads To Anti-Trump Rant

Trump Derangement Syndrome is apparently a thing.

Hawaiian residents (and their friends) were sent into a panic today when an inbound ballistic missile threat was sent out along with the words "THIS IS NOT DRILL."   One of my friends on Facebook posted that her fellow residents SHOULD TAKE COVER NOW.

Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) was among the first to tweet that the alert was a mistake.

But then later -  on CNN -  Gabbard inexplicably decided that the best was to handle the panic created by a mistake BY LOCAL OFFICIALS was to go on an anti-Trump rant.

“Donald Trump is taking too long,” she continued. “He’s not taking this threat seriously. There’s no time to waste. The people of Hawaii and this country should not have to go through something like this before leaders in this country start to take this threat seriously.”

Look -  we know that the Democrats are unhappy that Donald Trump be at Hillary Clinton.  And we know that Gabbard doesn't want to embarass local officials.  But does she realize that she's embarassing herself by using the opportunity to go after Trump?

Everyone is Hawaii should be demanding answers from local officials for this grave mistake.  Does Rep. Gabbard truly believe that Americans will be mad at TRUMP over this incident.

Sometimes, your political enemies are actually your best friends.  The constant haranguing of Trump for EVERY negative event is only going to drive his supporters BACK to the polls in the next two years to reinforce the point made in 2016.  Liberals ought to understand this -  remember their cynical "THANKS OBAMA" mockery of conservative criticism of their President?

By the way, what does Gabbard want Trump to do?  NEGOTIATE with the madman.

"The only viable option that I see before us today is a diplomatic one, and that can only be pursued if two things happen," Gabbard said on CNN.

"One is that we negotiate directly with North Korea and Kim Jong Un," she said, adding, "and secondly, in order for those negotiations to be successful, we have to understand why Kim Jong Un is holding on so tightly to those nuclear weapons because he sees them as his only deterrent from the U.S. coming in and trying to topple his regime."

DOUBLY embarrassing.
