Can you imagine what they have been thru...being fed once per day....being tied up with pies and other food on the counter where they could see it but couldn't eat it. They were only allowed to shower once per year. They were shackled a lot of the time.
As horrific as the case of the Turpin siblings is, it’s not surprising that people want to help them. In fact, Child Protective Services has been receiving thousands of calls from people all across the country who want to help. But it’s that generous spirit that has seen a number of bogus GoFundMe pages set up trying to scam kind people out of money. Thing is? There is ONLY ONE legal fund that is set up.
