These Fans Get Free Beer If Their Team Wins The Super Bowl

The Patriots vs the Eagles must be the most patriotic-sounding Super Bowl match-up ever.  It makes you want to shout, "America!"

And what could be more American than free beer to the victors?  Well, barbeque ribs...but let's stay on point.

During training camp in August, Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson promised Philadelphia fans free beer if the team wins the Super Bowl.  In a brilliant marketing move, Bud Light stepped in and said, "we'll buy."

As the Eagles prepare to challenge New England, the beer company hasn't forgotten its promise.

Bud Light has not forgotten about our commitment to Lane Johnson, the Eagles and the city of Philadelphia. We will be sharing plans soon, but in the interest of not jinxing the team ahead of their upcoming games, we are not going to unveil any plans at this time,” a spokesperson tells CBS Philly.

Bud Light has been totally committed to marketing to Eagles fans this season...their hilarious "Dilly Dilly" commercials have been playing on the Jumbotron at Eagles games and there's a special "Philly Philly" ad that you can see below.
