(DES MOINES, Iowa) A man's been charged with First Degree Murder in a shooting last year.
Des Moines Police say Alonzo Gibbs has been charged in the death of 24-year-old Trey Lee, March 17, 2017.
Gibbs has been in custody on a Federal Firearms charge. His trial related to that ended today (Thursday) and he was then arrested for murder.
The shooting happened at approximately 4 p.m. in the 12-hundred block of 15th Place in Des Moines. Lee was shot in the torso and died. A second man, 24-year-old Patrick Young was shot in the foot.
