"Shark" swims at Des Moines area investment conference

One of the panelists on TV's "Shark Tank" says Iowa farmers, could make more money, by using technology to comparison shop for inputs, whether it's seed, machinery, or insurance, saying more information is better.

O'Leary, who was a keynote speaker at a land and investment expo in metro Des Moines today (Friday) told the Big Show on Newsradio 1040 WHO, he's been invested in ag inputs for the past 20-years, and he's noticed the supplier's margins have grown, but farmers margins have shrunk.

He also said if given the choice to own, or to rent farm-land, he'd prefer to own, saying prices rise and fall, but over time the land always grows in value.

O'Leary had more to say, you can hear the interview on the Big Show's Podcast, which you can find on WHO Radio.com.
