ANKENY, Iowa - A Des Moines woman has been arrested and charged with feeling police in a stolen car  in rush hour traffic Tuesday.

37-year-old Danielle Lanois was taken to jail after being checked at a hospital.

The chase began in Des Moines, after police say they spotted a stolen car near 29th and Euclid.  Officers say Lanois reached up to 90 miles an hour, getting onto I-35 north bound just before 5:00 Tuesday afternoon.

Polk County Sheriff's Deputies say Lanois exited at Corporate Woods Drive and headed east, before losing control, running off the road, and rolling at least once.
