(COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa) Vice President Mike Pence will make an appearance in Council Bluffs Tuesday afternoon to promote President Trump's tax cut package.
Pence will be speaking at an America First Policies event at the MidAmerica Center at 3:30 p.m. as part of a series of events called "Tax Cuts to Put America First." The event will tout the federal tax law singed by Trump and how it will impact the state of Iowa and the rest of the country.
America First Policies will have a guest speakers discussing the Tax Cuts and and Jobs Act prior to Pence's remarks.
Following his Council Bluffs stop, the vice president will be in Omaha for a dinner with Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts.
