DES MOINES, Iowa  - Police say two people were shot early Friday morning outside a Des Moines bar.

Investigators say they found shell casings and two guns near the Triple Double bar at 910 Hull around 1:30 a.m.

The bar and a nearby home were also hit by bullets.

Two people with gunshot wounds showed up at the emergency room at Mercy Hospital.  Police say 25-year-old Chay Ostander and 23-year-old Marcus Brown are expected to survive.

No arrests have been made yet in the case.

Police say they’ve been called to the bar 35 times over the last six months, according to WHO TV Channel 13.  Most of the complaints were for loud music or people but there have also been calls for narcotics, suspicious persons, and shots fired.
