Marshalltown, Iowa man caught with meth in traffic stop

(MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa)  A Marshalltown man's behind bars on drug charges after a weekend traffic stop.    Deputies pulled over a vehicle on Highway 14 near Laurel around 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon, that had an illegal registration plate.   

The deputy also noticed driver of the vehicle had crossed the center line.

Thirty-three-year old Alejandro Sandoval was found with four pounds of meth, $3,700, and a product often used to dilute drugs.   

He was arrested for Possession with intent to deliver meth, Failure to affix a drug tax stamp, Driving while suspended, and other traffic violations.   He's in the Marshall County Jail, bond is set at $100,000.
