Teen pleads guilty in Madison County, Iowa bridge arson

(WINTERSET, Iowa)   The last of three people accused of torching an iconic Madison County covered bridge last year, was in court today (Monday).

Eighteen-year-old Alexander Hoff of West Des Moines has pleaded guilty to Second Degree Arson, First Degree Criminal Mischief, and Aiding and Abetting in the burning of the Cedar Bridge with 18-year-old Joel Davis and 19-year-old Alivia Bergmann last April 15th.

Hoff's sentencing is scheduled for April  23rd.

Davis and Bergmann pleaded guilty to charges previously.  Davis is to be sentenced April 16th, Bergmann is to be sentenced May 7th.
