(STORY COUNTY, Iowa) A Gilbert man was killed in a crash at 6:14 this morning on Highway 69 and 150th Street near Gilbert, in Story County.
The Iowa State Patrol says a Chevy Impala driven by 25-year-old Zachariah Conrad crossed the center line and crashed into a Ford Focus driven by 65-year-old Richard Jernagle of Story City.
Conrad was ejected and died at the scene. Jernagle was taken to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. His condition is unknown.
