UPDATE no budget veto after all

WASHINGTON, D.C. - After a bit of a scare Friday, President Donald Trump did sign a new $1.3 trillion dollar budget bill that keeps the U.S. government running until next September.

On Friday morning, in a series of Tweets, President Donald Trump said he is considering a veto of the $1.3 trillion dollar spending bill approved by Congress because it doesn't include full funding for his proposed border wall and has no resolution of the DACA issue.

The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program is a U.S. immigration policy that allows some individuals who were brought to the United States as children by illegal immigrant parents to remain.

The president commented that he was disappointed as he told the press he had signed the bill, and warned Congress, “I will never sign another bill like this again.”
