Reynolds: Allegations against former director "credible"

(DES MOINES, Iowa)  Governor Kim Reynolds says more than one person came forward with allegations of sexual harassment against former Iowa Finance Authority Director Dave Jamison.

Reynolds said during her weekly news conference today (Monday) the allegations were credible.  She says Jamison was an at-will employee, and she has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to sexual harassment.

She says she learned about it Friday night.  Saturday Reynolds met with her Chief of Staff, Director of Management, Director of Administrative Services and Senior Legal Council, and then decided to fire Jamison.

Gov. Reynolds has named IFA Chief Programs Officer Carolann Jensen as interim director.
