John Kelly Says Report He Called President Trump An Idiot Is "Total BS"

Here we go again with another report derived from "sources."  White House Chief Of Staff John Kelly has put out a statement calling a report by NBC that he called President Trump an idiot is "total BS."

I spend more time with the President than anyone else and we have an incredibly candid and strong relationship. He always knows where I stand and he and I both know this story is total BS," Kelly said in a statement. "I am committed to the President, his agenda, and our country. This is another pathetic attempt to smear people close to President Trump and distract from the administration's many successes."

CNN also spoke to a senior administration official about the meeting.

"That's complete BS. I was in the room for that meeting," the official told CNN. "I don't know who's out for him, but that's crap."

Note that part of the quote:  "I don't know who's out for him..."

That really gets to the heart of the matter.  I can see an administration officials who dislikes another member of the administration running to multiple media outlets trying to get SOMEONE to "break" a story that causes trouble for the person they dislike.  The national media is so eager to be first that they'll shoot first, ask questions later.

To borrow John Kelly's term, it seems that a tactic when trying to push someone out of President Trump's inner circle is to bury that person in a blizzard of BS.  These stories just injure the credibility of the national media beyond repair.  But the media doesn't seem to care.
