It was a great afternoon on the Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade as the leader of the Ag Industry in Iowa came for a visit to one of the industry's premiere events:
Secretary of Ag Mike Naig spent a couple hours visiting with riders, families and spectators before jumping behind the wheel of the Titan Tire "Grizz M" in group 2:
He was second in the group, but as luck would have it, problems for the leader forced him to pull over and Secretary Naig was in charge:
Without any training, he guided 75 or so tractors through Southeast Iowa and into the pit stop in Keota without a hitch. The Keota Fire Department was back also with their 15x30 giant flag proudly flying:
Take a listen as Secretary Naig and leader Neil Schrage discuss his tractor issues and Secretary Naig's assention to group leader:
One of the more unique sites on the final day of Tractorcade was the gasoline museum, look at this:
A big thank you for a job well done to EVERYONE involved in the planning and execution of Tractorcade this year, and we appreciate everyone who came to drive, support or watch as without you there wouldn't be a Great Eastern Iowa Tractorcade.
