It's National Night Out in Central Iowa

DES MOINES--Tuesday, August 7th, there'll be a lot of police and fire presence in area neighborhoods in the early evening hours.

That's because it's "National Night Out", where communities all over the US set aside time for events with free food, tours and police and firefighters to talk socially with residents.
