Believe it or not, we're almost halfway home with the 2018 Iowa State Fair, with noon on Tuesday being the mid-point. So far one of our favorite activities has been presenting the "Way We Live" award at 11:30 each day in the Family Learning Center:
All 10 award winners have a nice display on the walls inside the center. The FFA folks also are selling their limited edition Fair tractors like this guy:
Andy remembers many afternoons on the seat of a similiar unit. Up at the Iowa Pork Producers Tent we found one of the most popular new foods, Brown Sugar Pork Belly on a Stick as modeled by Pork Queen Jordan Travis:
