Mollie Tibbetts investigation has new website but little news

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation held a news conference Monday, but had little in the way of new information about the disappearance of University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts.

Investigators say they've launched a new website, findingmollie.iowa.gov in hopes of encouraging people to share information they might have cast aside when she disappeared.  Residents of the Brooklyn area were asked to jog their memory of July 18th in case they may have noticed something that they didn't report.

Tibbetts was last seen the night of July 18th.

So far there have been over 1500 tips that have come in to CrimeStoppers of Central Iowa's website about the case.

Authorities are holding close the details of the investigation, saying public release could hurt their chances of finding the missing 20 year old.
