Tim Cook, chief executive officer of Apple, speaks during an Apple event at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park

Apple has unveiled three new iPhones, including the largest iPhone they have ever made, the 6.5-inch Xs Max. It happened during their annual product reveal at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California, where CEO Tim Cook detailed the iPhone Xs Max and its smaller cousin the iPhone Xs, which will both feature a Super Retina display that boasts three million pixels, and an A12 Bionic chip that runs 15 percent faster than its predecessor. The phones will come with larger batteries, and users should expect to see an additional hour and a half of life from their devices.

The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max will be available for pre-order on Friday, September 14 starting at $999 and $1,099, respectively

In addition to the Xs and Max Xs, Apple will also be releasing a cheaper model, the XR, which will retail for $749. The 6.1-inch XR will come with the A12 Bionic chip and the "most advanced LCD in a smartphone."

“iPhone XR helps us reach even more people with the latest iPhone innovations. It is packed with the newest technologies including a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display that goes edge to edge, the latest TrueDepth camera with faster Face ID authentication, new 7-nanometer A12 Bionic chip with second generation Neural Engine and a 12-megapixel camera that takes advanced Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting photos,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “The new iPhone XRhas a gorgeous new aerospace-grade aluminum and glass enclosure that has IP67 protection from liquids and dust, long all-day battery life and comes in six beautiful finishes. iPhone XR makes it possible for even more people to have the great experience of the latest iPhone X technology, in beautiful new designs, at a more affordable price.”

Apple also introduced the redesigned Apple Watch Series 4, which is 30 percent larger than the Series 3 watch. It includes new health features, like an upgraded heart monitor capable of performing an electrocardiogram. The watch will also be able to detect if you fall and can call emergency services if you are injured. The new watch will start at $399.
