URBANDALE, Iowa- An Urbandale woman is facing an attempted murder charge, after an incident Monday night in her home.
Urbandale Police officers were called to a home in the 89-hundred block of Urbandale Avenue around 11:30 last night.
Police say 26-year-old Lorena Hernandez Rios had fired one shot from a handgun into a wall.
Police say a male, who lived there, was not injured. Hernandez-Rios was taken to the Polk County Jail. In addition to the attempted murder charge, she faces a domestic abuse assault charge with intent or display of a weapon.
