Iowa State unveils plans for Sports Performance Center

AMES, Iowa-  Iowa State University is releasing plans for a 90-(M) million dollar Sports Performance Center, and gathering space for Cyclone fans.

The four-story Performance Center, will include a 20-thousand square foot academic and student services center, dining facilities, and a sports nutrition center for student-athletes.   

Pending approval from the Iowa Board of Regents,  construction is expected to begin in June of next year and take two years to complete.

The new game day plaza would be located at the current location of the  Olsen Building and the Sports Performance Center is currently Lot 85-West.
