I-35 speeder's excuse to Iowa deputy, "I was hungry"

STORY COUTY, Iowa-    The Story County Sheriff's office is sharing this photo of a vehicle, clocked at 105 MPH.   Deputies stopped the vehicle on I-35 at mile marker 116, north of Ames.  The driver told the deputy he was in a hurry to get to Perkins because he was "very hungry."

The Story County Sheriff's office reminds drivers a speeding ticket for going 35 MPH over the posted limit costs $301.25. 

They posted another tip on their Facebook page, -Slow down. Drive safe. There's no need to rush when Perkins is open 24 hours.
