MARION COUNTY, Iowa - A Pleasantville teen was killed in a crash Tuesday night in Marion County, southeast of the Des Moines metro area.
The Iowa State Patrol report says the 17-year-old was driving too fast on ice and snow-covered roads when he crashed on 43rd Avenue at 40th Place on the southern edge of Pleasantville.
The ISP says the boy was thrown from the pickup after going into a ditch and rolling.
