Trial set for Iowa man accused of killing wife with corn rake

DELAWARE COUNTY, Iowa - An Eastern Iowa man accused of killing his wife with a corn rake now has a trial date.

Forty-two-year-old Todd Mullis is charged with first-degree murder.

Mullis told investigators his wife had fallen at the couple's farm and that her death was an accident.

But an autopsy determined his wife, 39-year-old Amy Mullis, had multiple stab wounds in the back.

KCRG TV 9 reports Mullis will go on trial May 13th.
