DES MOINES, Iowa - An investigation is underway after a Facebook post by a woman convicted of felony child endangerment with injury is now being accused of advertising a new, unlicensed, illegal child care service.
The Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) confirms it is investigating Cindy Holt of Pleasant Hill.
Holt and her daughter, Amanda Holt, lost their child care licenses after felony convictions when a mother took her baby to the hospital with bite marks after picking up the baby from the Holts' child care in 2016. They both were sentenced to two years of probation.
According to DHS, Holt's license was revoked and she is prohibited from having involvement in child care.
