Top Baby Names From Those Wishing To Switch From "Khaleesi"

(warning: this post contains Game Of Thrones spoilers even though it's a post about baby names).

There's been reports that parents have been naming their kids after Game Of Thrones characters. A handful of parents have named their daughters, Khaleesi, which means "queen" in the Dothraki language on the show and is what Queen Danerys is called by her people. Pretty regal, huh?

Except in the latest episode, the Queen Of Dragons literally "flies" into a blind rage and orders her dragon to burn women and children while destroying the town of King's Landing. Suddenly, she's the villain.

So...a few parents may be looking for a name change. May I suggest the latest list of top baby names in the US?

While we keep hearing of new parents being inspired by “Game of Thrones” or superheroes when it comes to baby names, it turns out the most popular names for tots haven’t changed all that much. The Social Security Administration has just revealed the Top Baby Names of 2018, with the Top three names for boys and girls totally the same as they were in 2017.

Topping the list for boys is Liam, followed by Noah and William, while for girls Emma is tops, followed by Olivia and Ava. As for changes in the Top Ten, Lucas is in, while Jacob is out for boys, and for girls Harper is in, and Abigail is out.
