Des Moines police chase reaches 100 miles per hour

DES MOINES, Iowa - Des Moines police arrest a Marshalltown man after he leads them on a high-speed chase reaching 100 miles per hour early Wednesday morning.

Police say they tried to pull over 46-year-old Casey Sheriff around 12:30 a.m. at Fleur Drive and Army Post Road.

Sheriff then took off and would top 100 miles per hour before the chase ended in Warren County.

WHO Channel 13 reports Sheriff is being held in the Polk County Jail.
