Where you can find fireworks & other 4th of July activities...

Fireworks on July 3rd include: Prairie Meadows Race Track & Casino, Reiman Gardens in Ames, Yankee Doodle Pops at the Capitol Building

Urbandale has festivities on July 3rd beginning at 4:30PM...Waukee has a carnival that opens at 5PM July 3rd in Centennial Park...Valley Junction in West Des Moines hosts the All Iowa Bash on July 3rd starting at 3PM.

Fireworks on July 4th include: Adventureland in Altoona, Carlisle in North Park, Iowa Cubs (July 4th & 5th), Grimes at the South Sports Complex, Norwalk at the McAninch Sports Complex, Urbandale, Waukee, West Des Moines over Blue Heron Lake and Windsor Heights at Colby Park.

Milo has water fights, games, corn hole and sand volleyball tournaments, inflatable rides, eating contests, a dunk tank and a kiddie train at City Park.

Parades: Ames - July 4th at 11AM on Main Street; Carlisle - July 4th at 9:30AM; Milo - July 4th at 10AM; Norwalk - July 4th at 10AM; Urbandale - July 4th 10AM at Oliver Smith Drive & 70th St.; Waukee - July 4th at 3PM on the Triangle; West Des Moines - July 3rd at 6:30PM starting at Valley West Drive & Ashworth Road; Windsor Heights - July 4th at 4PM.
