IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The Iowa State Patrol says one person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in Iowa City.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at about 3:00 p.m. Friday near the on-ramp to easbound I-80 from northbound Highway 281.
The patrol says a car with mechanical problems was unable to get off the roadway due to road construction. That caused a chain reaction wreck involving five other vehicles.
Morgan Downing Rosenthal, 52, of Iowa City was killed when her Honda CRV was hit by tdr iver of a Peterbuilt truck.
No other injuries are reported.
