The Most Dangerous Songs To Play While Driving

Most people love to listen to music while driving, but a new study finds that some songs are safer to listen to behind the wheel than others.

In case you missed it, the study by South China University of Technology found that Green Dayā€™s ā€œAmerican Idiotā€ is the most dangerous song to drive to, a fact the bandā€™s drummer Tre Cool was pretty excited about, sharing on Instsagram ā€œBuckle up and step on the gas! Itā€™s official - most dangerous band!#realnews.ā€

Coming in just behind Green Day is Miley Cyrusā€™ "Party in the U.S.A.,ā€ followed by The Killersā€™ ā€œMr. Brightside.ā€

As you might surmise, the study assumes that people speed up due to a frantic beat. I actually disagree. I SLOW down when hearing a favorite song because I don't want to get home before singing it in its entirety at the top of my lungs. Come to think it, if my window is down...that MIGHT be dangerous to other drivers!
