Man killed, two boys hurt after O'Brien County Iowa crash

O'BRIEN COUNTY, Iowa- A man was killed and two boys were hurt in a northwest Iowa crash Sunday. The Iowa State Patrol says a Polaris utility vehicle, driven by 61-year-old Jerome Schueller of Primghar collided with a Chevy Blazer, driven by 40-year-old Joshua Mahler of Sutherland, Iowa Sunday around 5:20 p.m. in rural O'Brien County. The Patrol says both vehicles ended up in the ditch and caught fire.

The Iowa State Patrol says Schueller was killed, and two boys, ages 8 and 6 were injured.

The Patrol says the crash happened at 380th and Roosevelt, northwest of Primghar. Authorities say Schueller was traveling west on 380th and the Chevy Blazer was northbound on Roosevelt, when it collided with the driver's side of the utility vehicle at the intersection.
