Holiday Deals Begin THIS WEEK. No, I'm Not Kidding

I know, I know - a lot of people complain that the holiday stuff at your local store gets set out WAY TOO EARLY. My answer: retailers wouldn't do it if people weren't buying. As evidence of that, consider that online holiday sales begin THIS WEEK.

Walmart is starting online deals that launch Friday. Other retailers are ALSO stepping up their game for the shortened holiday shopping season.

Here’s some of what you can expect:

Target will have same day delivery options and free shipping too. Best Buy will have free next day delivery on many items as many retailers compete head-to-head with Amazon.

According to the Deloitte 2019 Holiday Survey of Customers:

  • 39-percent of consumers will begin their holiday shopping before the end of October.
  • More than half will shop online, with items like electronics and toys a top pick.
  • 72-percent say free shipping is still one of the most appealing promotional offers.
