Biggest event in 2020 Presidential race so far is in Iowa tonight

DES MOINES, Iowa - An Iowa Democratic Party dinner in Des Moines tonight is considered the biggest event anywhere in America so far in the 2020 race for president, because of its potential to propel a candidate into the Presidency.

This is the event that turned the Barack Obama campaign into the presidency in 2007. Obama went on to win the Democratic Party Nomination, and ultimately, the Presidency.

12,000 or so Democrats are expected in Iowa for the Liberty and Justice Dinner at Wells Fargo Arena.

Each of the candidates gets 10 minutes to speak, no notes allowed. Each of the candidates will be hoping for that magical turnaround, tonight.

Joe Biden's polling has been dropping in Iowa. Kamala Harris's campaign, too. Harris just cut staff to save money hoping to keep her campaign alive.

Iowa poll leaders Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg are each looking to solidify their candidacies with their speeches, tonight.
