CLIVE, Iowa - Police in Clive are still looking for the driver who left the scene after hitting and injuring a teenager on a sidewalk Monday.
Officers say a 14-year-old girl was walking at about 4:15 Monday afternoon when a car left the road in the 9200 block of Indian Hills Drive and struck her.
WHO-TV reports the girl is now recovering at home from internal injuries, a concussion and other bruises.
Police say she hasn't been able to tell them much about the crash.
They're still hoping to find video footage of the suspect car from security cameras at neighboring homes.
