More Than 10,000 Animals Rescued By ARL Of Iowa In 2019

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa says it reached a new record in 2019 for the number of animals it saved.

The league says it rescued more than 10,000 animals, surpassing its goal of 10,000 and breaking a record for most lives saved in the organization's history.

The groups says number of animals rescued includes pets adopted to new families, pets transferred to the them and lost pets returned to their owner.
